I've heard good things about the BH550. The EQ points are very similar to the GK. The TonePrint feature sounds fun.

Problem is, TC Electronics is now Behringer...
Behringer owns Tannoy too. I think it would be a good idea for them to let these companies keep their reputation.

Re: Thinking about a new amp...

I like Markbass but I don't like the rocker. The "drive" knob just seemed to make a buzzing sound that was either loud or soft.

I assumed he meant the OP. But yeah, I'd also be inclined to hang onto the old one.
Correct, I did. I want to remod my MMJ Stingray 5 to MMP.

He replied with New message from: lela_lela3 (192Turquoise Star) don't assume ....The bass is a fender Japan bass, the neck was re worked by me, hence the crooked back of tuners, the pickups was replaced by me. I buy Bass bodys/necks/pick ups etc from ebay and fix them, and sell them as a whole bas...

Want something different different to the usual Celestion speakers? This comes with B&C speakers. They are exceptional quality with a very good quality coating that prevents the common drying out that happens to many other speakers over time.

You could try the head by itself too. :)
The GK sound is quite good for that type of gig.

Re: Trade/Sell Markbass 104H Traveller. Genuine early model with BLACK SPEAKERS. With PICS

I have a Markbass Traveller 104H, made in Italy. It has had a very sheltered life since most of my gigs are small ones. (Just a weekend warrior). It has the original all black speakers and horn. The front face is a pale yellow that could be easily painted over if you are really keen. Markbass logo ...

I did find this.

I have had three MB amps and never had a problem with them. I assume the speaker issues have been solved?
