Re: Political Coverage By the Media in Our Country - PART TWO

He's on a roll today. Channelling his inner Hockey. Australians can forget about relying on the age pension when they retire, according to Federal Treasurer Scott Morrison. And yet in the same breath. He also indicated super tax breaks for the very wealthy will also be reined in, a backflip on what...

Re: Political Coverage By the Media in Our Country - PART TWO

Seriously, does this guy have any credibility whatsoever? https://www.smh.com.au/politics/federal/how-scott-morrison-changed-his-tune-on-the-banking-royal-commission-20180420-p4zaoa.html The Libs have opposed this royal commission, neutered it in terms of its terms of reference , and now its just d...

Here we go. As predicted privatisation of Centrelink and Medicare. Trash the brand first- check. Here's an idea to save money, Malcolm. Don't cut taxes to the ultra big companies (that do pay tax). https://www.wsj.com/articles/australia-eyes-privatization-of-public-health-and-welfare-payments-14549...

Re: Political Coverage By the Media in Our Country - PART TWO

The process to replace an ALP leader is cumbersome. I think it could be difficult to make all the ballots etc happen in a "snap fashion" unless there was only one person nominate. Can't they just call a stop work meeting and have a show of hands? The liberal party prefer that the wage-slaves just s...

Re: Political Coverage By the Media in Our Country - PART TWO

I am a bit over the "it's everybody else but Malcolm's fault" stuff. Totally agree They are unpopular because their policies stink and they operate like a rabble. The only thing that keeps them anywhere near the hunt is the poor public perception of Shorten, the cultivation of which seems to be the...

lol @ the Liberal voting Ozbassers rubbishing everything Labor does, and the Labor voters rubbishing everything the Libs say and do. While those of us who gave up on the big parties ages ago realise that NOTHING the Libs or Labor faction puppets say or do makes any substantial difference to our liv...

Smith reminds me of schoolboys whose bad behavior often enabled and excused by parents. Fancy bringing dad to front the media - I guess he's the grown up in Smith's life.

I agree with Ivan, I love that colour. I have the bb1025x. Just great build quality and the bridge pickup is super burpy - ceramic pickup I believe.

Re: Band too loud

I have had this problem with partially deaf musicians - well that's what I think anyway haha. No amount of cajoling will get the face-melting loudness to an acceptable level when they can't hear so good. I've found only Jazz trained drummers to be able to control their volumes. Rock drummers seem to...

Re: changing preamp?

I had a similar issue with a 16.5mm spacing ibanez. I installed a sadowsky pre and still wasn't happy. Couldn't find replacement pickups. Moved it on. 'My experience with modding has been more miss than hit. Mostly it has been the bass itself that wasn't giving me the tone I've been looking for. I p...
