Re: Political Coverage By the Media in Our Country - PART TWO

Hear, hear Senator Brandis. Re: I Will Survive in G? I said No.

I think moving keys is critical to helping the singer get the job done. That is why a four string bass is so limiting IMO. I have a female singer and a male singer and I don't expect them to sing the same song in the same key.

Re: Political Coverage By the Media in Our Country - PART TWO

I didn't even read that far into the article. But I totally I agree with the first sentence (which attributes both Hawke and Howard) 100% - this is the single biggest issue with Australian politics today .... "Former prime ministers John Howard and Bob Hawke have warned that career politicians with...

Re: Political Coverage By the Media in Our Country - PART TWO

Hawke and Howard nail it. http://www.abc.net.au/news/2017-08-17/john-howard-and-bob-hawke-criticise-career-politicians/8814572 I'm sure Howard thinks land rights for Aboriginal people is identity politics. He certainly never agreed with multiculturalism, and made this public after his period in off...

Re: Political Coverage By the Media in Our Country - PART TWO

Trump's rhetoric Well, why not just see for yourself? Here's a start: NSW Labor politician Greg Donnelly. Let me now give some advice to my Labor colleagues in Victoria. The Safe Schools program that the Victorian Government is imposing on public schools in that state is political poison. While it ...

"this generation of children will be a target for all things sexual and LGBetc like no other"
This sounds so much like Trump's rhetoric don't ya think? It's quite inflammatory and egregious to be honest and it's precisely why this 'debate' is so problematic.

Re: Political Coverage By the Media in Our Country - PART TWO

How ever we see 'natural order' and 'human social practice', SSM qualifies as a vast, unprecedented social experiment; so perhaps now we need look at the clues elsewhere to see if all is well as one would think or not. I think 'vast' is overblowing this issue. Again I think you're engaging in moral...

Re: Political Coverage By the Media in Our Country - PART TWO

Can't they just amend 44 and move on? No they can't. WE can though, as long as a referendum takes place. That is right. I think it depends on what is proposed as to whether it would get up at a referendum. If it amounts to allowing dual national to be in our parliament- I think it would have no cha...

Re: Political Coverage By the Media in Our Country - PART TWO

I know this thread is very one eyed, but let's be pragmatic for a moment - how can this citizenship debacle be fixed? Here's my suggestion, which will minimise the cost to taxpayers, and will free up all parties to get back to what they are paid to do ... ie. working for the betterment of the count...

Re: NBD Yamaha BB1025x

Ok a few weeks in and several rehearsals I must say that they BB1025x feels more like the bass that makes me smile when I play it and the SR5 the bass that gets the job done. I'm not sure if that makes a lot of sense, I find the SR5 dependable in all scenarios, yet the BB just something that is so f...
