FS/FT Yamaha BB1025x

I am putting up for sale my BB1025x. Some great sound samples available on youtube (see below). I imported this from the US. These models are discontinued. There are newer and cheaper models available but this model was the same spec as the 2025 series out of Japan (only thing different was the vibr...

Re: Political Coverage By the Media in Our Country - PART TWO

Here we go... "outsourcing NDIS". Sadly predictable. https://www.theguardian.com/australia-news/2018/apr/23/outsourcing-ndis-contact-centres-to-serco-an-accident-waiting-to-happen?CMP=share_btn_fb I really have to say it is so utterly depressing. Re: Mastering the fretboard - not!

Hey George, do you read music? If not, then you should learn. Then I'm sure the fretboard will fall into place for you. There are tonnes of exercises you can try like playing two-octave scales and forcing yourself to say/sing the note names etc. But these sort of things are pretty dry. Also play ev...

Re: Whats the deal with Eden Bass amps?

My 2c, and I know this I going to be unpopular. I bought the hype around the WT-550. Worst amp I’ve owned, and I’ve owned a few. Jack-all headroom, it used to trip the thermal protection during gigs. So much time in sounchecks and linechecks trying to pull a decent sound, and that’s with a P Bass. ...

I've been trying to make my brain work fast enough so I am playing notes AND patterns. While I usually have an idea of the notes around where I am playing, if I run up the fretboard quickly for a fill, well then its all patterns... my brain just won't process letters at speed.
