I might try another pic on a sunny day.
Ah good you got it running, I recall it had a few issues. Certainly some interesting items have come out of Fender Japan (again from memory?).

Re: I got to jam with Tom Kennedy! Warning - Fodera action!

Nice playing, by both of you! Is it strange I liked the lower register on the Fodera but the upper was kinda breathy or feathery? Meanwhile the F was sounding nice all over!

Re: Warwick Corvette 5 string (German) info...

The Vette's are definitely a niche Instrument; unique feel & a very distinctive mid-focused tone. Players that they appeal to will absolutely love them; however they're not everyones cup of tea, & just don't sit with a lot of players (the Vette's are by far the most common Warwick I see come up for...

Re: Warwick Corvette 5 string (German) info...

Re: Bass Strings Online closing down

Shipping was US$50 so I bailed on what I could find left up there. Alternatives anyone? Particularly someone who stocks GHS Balanced Nickels? BSO was the only place I knew of that did.

Re: Warwick Corvette 5 string (German) info...

Warwick pricing is truly all over the place. My guess would be anywhere from $800 to $1400, yep there is a lot of variance, check eBay and Reverb history to see for yourself, I based my estimate on past experience. They are nice basses, but do have a specific sound character, and always sound pretty...

Sharia is part of a religion and as such out of bounds for this discussion. What else should immigration officials be on the lookout for?

Re: Political Coverage By the Media in Our Country - PART TWO

So you're saying certain people shouldn't be allowed into the country, sure. The definition of which people is too complex, ok, but in essence ideology must fit with ours as a nation. Defining that would also be extremely complex. It seems like a slippery slope when you bring ideology of religion in...
