Re: Ebay thread PART TWO - the good, bad, and ridiculous...

That drop head looks very cool, and priced well considering what they were new.

Re: Political Coverage By the Media in Our Country - PART TWO

But the middle class is there to be taxed on decent wages, not rich enough to avoid it and not too poor to squeeze... isn’t that the point? Oh and to stimulate economy through spending disposable income I guess

Perfect condish, also has beefed up loop side heavy duty VELCRO attached, it's soft and plush, approx 100 times better than the stuff it comes with. I can include some hook side heavy duty VELCRO if you need. Pickup Melbourne for a hunj ($100) https://i.imgur.com/zyJl4fD.jpg https://i.imgur.com/AyoZ...

Re: Build #2 - caution... guitar content

Another big day last Friday at the workshop. Drilled some holes, glued some dots, sanded about six inches off the board because I drilled one hole too deep. Doh! Not really six inches, I exaggerate, but I did make a lot of dust. Looks like a bought one now though, those clay dots are the shizzle. Th...

Re: Genzler Magellan 350

Also if you're thinking the 10-2 might not be powerful enough, the 112T is slightly more expensive, a bit heavier, and more efficient. Not going to give the crisp full range of a 10-2 or 12-3 as it only has one tweeter. I was considering one as an alternative to the very expensive Aguilar SL112 with...

Look about as useful as the trolley attachment to the Mesa Walkabout Scout, which is not at all. https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/proxy/48yCYKmm_8EYKeSCYjEy9WHnZDzaj7OLLNvvemG5OCN4x4U6gSArgy9wUZ2mWhwjwK6uZtfu09BDm3rlTUB2Qd5K3Bokk3PWIjiH8BaeuBqMkTyUI2w=w443-h332-nc Echo Michael a single BA12-3 was q...

Re: Health Goals for 2017

I used to swim a lot before I moved south, I’ll run it past my physio Tuesday. I really should take this seriously, if something shifted again and I ended up with nerve damage my wife would kill me for being so stupid. Getting older sucks!

Re: Health Goals for 2017

I have a new goal, to not be woken up on the change room floor by a colleague after passing out from the pain of a slipped disc for the rest of the year. Physio and strength training in my near future, could probably afford to lose some kg as well.

Re: POLL Winner - Sydney GTG Sat 4th Nov 2017.

Well, I'll go first since I'm doing the longest trip. Gear: Genzler rig (Magellan head, 2 BA12-3 cabs); my brand-new pedal board (never thought I'd go that way) with a Boss MS-3 and a couple of other things. Basses: definitely 4 of my builds: original Kermit 6 string multi scale; Kermit Gaia 6 stri...

Re: Music Man amps

Yep, country, super loud and super clean, exactly what I want from a guitar amp. Same for a bass amp actually. Well, clean not to be confused with sterile, so plenty of character is a good thing but not overdriven as such. I only had one problem with a tube amp and that’s because I stuck a dead tube...

Re: Thinking about a new amp...

Right, well I guess cab efficiency isn't the problem then... you must just need a lot of volume! I have a similar problem, can't really handle anything over 20kg. Two smaller cabs is going to be easier to shift per piece than one large if you don't mind an extra trip from the car. I really sho...

Re: Music Man amps

Cool thanks for that, very useful info there. I think you’re right from what I can tell the HD130 seemed to be the next step from the fender twin, similar to the stingray being the next bass step. I’ve been looking at vintage bassman amps for a bit but they’re overpriced I think, these look like wel...
