Re: Cricket 2017/2018

Hmmmm... am I just a cranky old man or are others starting to question what Davey Warner is doing?

Oh wait a moment, of course I am a cranky old man. :)

Re: Cricket 2017/2018

At my last job in Sydney, I used to deal with a Financial Planning office in SA where I regularly swapped emails and phone calls with a young bloke who was playing 1st grade cricket and AFL. He was trying to break into the state cricket team, and from memory was also on the verge of signing with th...

Re: Political Coverage By the Media in Our Country - PART TWO

It's all well and good to have a cheap political slap at Labor State Premiers from the safety of Canberra when there is no one to argue back present (seems to be standard for the current Federal government), but not such a good idea when you are standing right next to them announcing something else....

Re: Political Coverage By the Media in Our Country - PART TWO

Noel Pearson on the scuttling of The Voice proposal. Long but well worth the read. We watched Turnbull fail in his attempt to peddle his lie on Q & A.when questioned by the wonderful Teela Reid last December. A weak and small man who failed the test. https://www.themonthly.com.au/issue/2017/december...

No wonder there has been no disclosure since Labor lost office. Also no wonder Niki Savva is such a loyal Turnbullite- her partner is a Turnbull staffer. http://www.couriermail.com.au/news/queensland/queensland-government/pm-malcolm-turnbull-increases-salary-of-ministerial-staff/news-story/9ed560c1f...

Re: Political Coverage By the Media in Our Country - PART TWO

I would extend that to groups such as Hizb ut-Tahrir, connected to language and means of violence, active and allowed in Australia, but who are banned in Indonesia (July 2017), Egypt, Jordan, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, and Uzbekistan. https://www.counterextremism.com/threat/hizb-ut-tahrir http://www.the...

Re: Political Coverage By the Media in Our Country - PART TWO

Channel 7 is getting boycotted by me. Any place seeks the views of neo nazis and merely describes them as right wing activists disgusts me. Chilling indeed. I hope the MSM, and local government, eschew all anti-Semitic and anti-Christian reporting and decision-making. A lot more of this sort of thi...
