Re: FS: O'Neill 100w B-15 Clone - $1250 shipped

Whats the difference between the 2 inputs? Active passive input gain sort of thing or is it 2 different voicings available on these 64/66 if I recall?

There's no gain/master volume (just like a B15) so you won't get the overdriven grind that you can get out of a V4B
Yeah I don't think I would be chasing grind with this - just that big fat girthy tube tone for the times I don't want to roll out the SB300

Are there any comparisons anywhere of these Clones to the V4-B?

Re: WTB Aguilar TLC Compressor

FYI, both amphenol and Neutrik 90° connectors clear the larger lip, older style Aguilar pedals. Just in case that helps. An ebs patch cable won't however...

Re: FS: O'Neill 100w B-15 Clone - $1250 shipped

This on top of my NV115s would be sexual. Certainly would, I was using this on top of a sort-of-nv115, it was a 15/8 sealed made by LDS in the States to sound like a small NV610 (sort of like an NV115). Sounded glorious together. I would have to move my B|Amp to justify this. Not quite sure I could...

Re: Who is obsessive about their coffee??

OK. Point taken. Researching glass keep cups. Looks like the original keep cups are still the best option.

On a happier note, here's a picture of my shot this morning

Re: Who is obsessive about their coffee??

If you are talking delonghi, I assume you are looking at an automatic machine? Personally I would be looking at a manual machine if you are looking for excellent coffee. Starting point for me would be the sunbeam twin thermo block EM7000 or what ever the current model is, or the Breville twin boile...

Re: Who is obsessive about their coffee??

I would say timing the shot is the exception. I had a Sunbeam EM7000 prior to what I have now, and even though the shot is timed, I could still adjust that.

Auto machines grind and tamp, and usually the basket is well under size so to pull a normal size shot, your have usually over extract.

Re: Small Rig

I know everyone's idea of a small rig is different, I find it hard to past a good DI Pre amp (VT Bass Del/ TH DI etc) into a QSC K12.

If I am using a small rig, it is normally on a small stage and at fairly moderate volume. Having a full range box pointing straight up at me is hard to beat.

Re: the MOVIE REVIEW thread

Downsizing. Atrocious. Thought it was going to be a comedy, then a dark comedy, then no idea what, then it was about finding yourself. I like Matt Damon, I wanted to like the movie. But no.
