Wow... that's not lived an easy life has it. 8/

Still, you could chamber all the weight out of that and never feel bad about it. I reckon I know a guy who could help you out with that... and a PU to replace that EMG. :D

Sorry, how old is the bass? Is the fretboard very worn? A pic would help too.

Fretless works best when it’s strong mids and not scooped in tone ...

Re: Jazz bass bridge PU position - 60s or 70s?

Being dual coil you can pretty much have one coil in the 70's and the other in the 60's. Are you going to do all the coil switching options that are available to you with the dual coils ? I wasn't going to mess around with switching options, but you've raised an excellent point there! I could have ...

Ok I will admit I have a problem

That I don't have a matching markbass cab for the momark, a matching genz head for the 610 and an matching epifani head for the t310
Seems to me you might have 2 problems... the second being called, "denial".

Have you guys contacted consumer affairs or similar? If you could document things as a group, maybe they could pursue him legally?

I had a fretless with a MM. You saw it at the GTG. It went to it's new owner last week.

This new one is getting J style HBs.

Re: What to do when the supplied backline is a bit... meh...

On the other side of the equation... At the last church I worked, my amp was the back line. Labby and a 1x15". We had a Sudanese congregation and they like to be LOUD . When I say loud, I mean hurty, hurty loud. Unless the whole building was shaking, they didn't have it loud enough. I was pretty con...

I've taken a sort of stab in the dark approach before. Some has worked well, some not so much. So what I'm trying to sort out is wh...

Re: Midnight OIl in the Domain - 11.11.2017

As mentioned earlier about the sound not being 'there'. At the Domain gig there were stacks of speakers pointed in every direction, up the front and the middle of the crowd. Being digital I thought the sound was crisp and clear but compressed enough to evenly distribute the instruments sound. Ticks...

A Warwick Streamer $$
Is it usually pretty middy or does it specialize in lots of low and lots of highs?
