Re: Who uses a sealed 410?

Hi,
I have the same Sovtek cab, and I am more than happy to seal up the port so you can borrow it and A/B with the ported version. I am at 3805. Let me know if your interested. The cab is currently serving as a rolling work bench, so won't be missed.

Re: The Guitar Industry is Dying

I have a room full of piano, acoustics, electrics, and basses, two sons, and zero interest in any of it. After watching music videos with the young ones, it appears that modern music is all about young ladies shaking their butts. Actually creating music is a secondary, or even tertiary consideration...

Re: Bugera BVV3000

It certainly sounds like these ship with shite power tubes, so I suppose you just have to factor the cost of a good set on top of the purchase price. The protection circuit sounds like a good thing, back in the day a crook tube would often cost you an output tranny as well. I have an Aston BV300, wh...

Re: Shipping an all tube amp.

The Ashton BVH300 I recently brought arrived in a home made soft cover, looked to be constructed from a stapled-up vintage gig bag (remember the brownish / burgundy coloured ones?) and some black pallet wrap, courtesy of Pack & Send (via Couriers Please). I asked the seller to remove the tubes and p...

Well the amp arrived, and first inspection suggests it is pretty well built. Once I get better acquainted, I'll post a NAD thread

Re: The Ebay thread - the good, bad, and ridiculous...

rodl2005, thanks for the heads-up, the BV300 is coming to my place. The only reason I didn't go for the LH1000 is I like tubes better. Plus not many gigs = don't care what it weighs. Pete Glad I could help! And that it's going to a good home! Congrats, give us a review when you've given it a run. :...

Look on the bridge hidden under the saddle length adjusting screws / springs. Often obscured by dust & grime...this is a bridge with string mutes?
