Re: youtube gold: Bass Player Support Group

I've seen it before but I had to watch it again, it's classic. Written by either a bass player or someone married to one I reckon!! :)

Re: FS : Fender 50s RW Precision Neck

Hey Dazza, if the neck is handy would you be able to measure the thickness of the neck at the first fret and the 12th fret? I'm looking to see if the your neck is the same C shape as my JV Squier neck but it's hard to find any specs. Cheers.

Re: FS : Fender 50s RW Precision Neck

Thanks mate. I have a Warmoth neck on my jazz Bass at the moment but it's pretty chunky, I'll measure it up against it tonight and see how I go.

Re: NBD - Yamaha BB735A

Ah, ok mate, should have guessed, lol! The preamp sounds great, however it's hard to assess due to the hum and earthing issues I have. I'll advise when I get it fixed.

On the Dingwall PJ, how did it compare to your Yamaha tone wise?

Re: FS : Fender 50s RW Precision Neck

Hmm, any idea what neck profile on these necks are? And the radius?

Cheers.

Re: NBD - Yamaha BB735A

So far, I'm really digging the sound of the bass, it's everything that I expected a PJ setup to be. I do notice a slight imbalance between the P and the J pickup but it's not enough to bother me, at this stage... The hum issue is still there, I have had the go ahead to get the bass to a Yamaha repai...

Re: George wins

George is awesome, I visited him on the way down from Brisbane to Canberra early on in the year and I could have spent hours with him if the wife was not in the car!

FS - EBS Unichorus - $140 delivered

This is a great pedal, I've been using it for a while now but have removed it from my board as the MS3 does a pretty good job with chorus... It also does flanger and pitch modulation if you so desire! I have the box and manual, it's in good nick and has velcro on the bottom. https://drive.google.com...

Re: Line6 G30 wireless unit and rechargeable batteries

Here's the best current Eneloop deal around if you can pickup from Binglee: http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/162440961634 Use PBING20 to get 20% off to make them $8 for the two and a charger. Also, ozbargain.com.au often has various links to Eneloop batteries on special. I'm lucky, my work was a Sanyo res...

Re: Line6 G30 wireless unit and rechargeable batteries

A guitarist I play with a lot uses this unit with the Eneloops, and I haven't noticed any issues with the unit at all. TBH he does get maybe half an hour less playing time with them compared to when he was using non rechargeable units but thats no biggie as he always has 4 on a charge ready to go.

FS - SansAmp Programmable Bass Driver $260 shipped

Only 2 months old, a great unit however the programmable side of this unit has become superfluous to my needs since I got my Boss MS-3 switching system. Velcro on the bottom, has the original box and manual etc. Small scrape of black missing on the top right hand cover, nothing else wrong that I can...

Simple is great, I love being able to setup quickly with no fuss! I had one of the boss cases years ago and they are great.

I know how it feels, I've only really been getting into pedals the last year or so, since then I've gone crazy :) I'm not sure if you FarceBook or not but there's a good group you can join that has nice info etc. on the MS-3 - I've learn t a few tricks! https://www.facebook.com/groups/...
