Re: NBD - Schecter Siletto Studio 5

This is my 3rd Schecter bass, so pretty ok with their products.
Havent weighed this one, but doesnt seem too heavy.
I've got a Stargazer, which is an ash body, that thing is pretty heavy, but sounds great !

NBD - Schecter Siletto Studio 5

Hi All, Recently decided that I should add a 5er to the stable, Had one many years ago and one of those things I regret selling. Was in the US for work this month so whet shopping while I was there (ok, so I had ordered it and just collected it from the local GC) Figured I'd grab a case while I was ...

Re: NAD! Vox VX50-BA

4 styles of tubes is probably a bit of marketing spin... The controls on it dont give you much in the way of selection, gain, 4 band eq, and master. There is a drive and compressor switch, but no other control over them Gave it a bit of a run on the weekend really happy with what it does. I thought ...

NAD! Vox VX50-BA

Decided a few weeks ago I needed a little practice amp. My wife has 2, and I've only got 1 little rig... So did some searching and this little rig kicks along very nicely. Being only an 8" driver and plastic box I was skeptical. But at the price point there isn't much else. Controls are pretty simpl...

Nice man. The tone and how you hold your pick reminds me if Newsted.
Also I'm intrigued...how does the Viper balance on a strap?
The Viper seems pretty good, I've only had it for a few months, but not noticed any head dive issues.
I never even thought about it when using it :)

Re: NBD - ESP Standard J

Standard ESP = MIJ, the cheaper LTD line are made in a bunch of other places. They have a US Custom shop now too. And yeah, its got an ESP branded preamp, 2 band eq, so its vol, vol, bass, treble (might have the tone controls backwards..) Looks like this: https://i.imgur.com/PAXYWMs.jpg from ESP: Th...

SD Blackouts Demo

Hi All, Been a while.... I recently replaced the pickups in my Schecter Hellraiser with SD Blackouts. I couldn't find many sample videos online, so figured i'd make my own so others can see what these pickups are about. Anyhow, you can find the video and my ordinary playing here: https://www.youtube...
