Re: Coupling. How do you lay your cabs?

So you’re saying there’s absolutely no tonal effect from having more surface area of the cab in contact with the ground? What about stacking it on hollow boxes ie other bass cabs, drum risers etc?
Cheers!

Re: Coupling. How do you lay your cabs?

I wasn’t aware of the off axis issues with clarity with regards to this issue, good to know! I guess it also comes down to what kind of stage it is (hollow or reflective) and whether or not pa support is involved. I’d say in about 70% of my gigs are vocal pa only so I need to fill the room but not d...

Coupling. How do you lay your cabs?

So I’ve been doing some fairly extensive can testing over the last few weeks and one of the main things I’ve discovered is that it really makes a difference how much surface area your cabs have with the ground. For example: my 2 112s sound way phatter side by side than stacked. As does my 15 and 12 ...

Yep, I can vouch for these amps. Had one for years in the 2x10 combo setup. Good, strong sound and plenty loud enough. Good luck with the sale.
Agreed! This thing really surprised me, only selling cos I picked up Rictrose's Epifani UL501!

I think I liked the World Cup better when everyone was happy just to see Australia qualify.

Re: FIFA World Cup 2018

I don’t understand Australians supporting other countries than their own? I didn’t think you got a choice in the matter.... ;) Maybe not everyone living in Australia is Australian ... . Regards, Michael Of course, but I think if you identify as Australian then you should support your athletes on th...

Re: FIFA World Cup 2018

With regards to all the rolling around in agony after a wee trip, I agree it’s annoying and silly. However, 99% time this does not affect the referees decision as that is made the split second the incident occurs. I for one love the World Cup, it’s interesting being Scottish/European and experiencin...

Re: FIFA World Cup 2018

I love it so far! Every match has been at the very least interesting. Russia and Belgium are off to a flying start, England scraped by ;) Australia were unlucky in their first game I reckon, will be interesting to see how they stack up against the other teams in their group (which is the highest ran...
