Re: Who is obsessive about their coffee??

I had a mate who was a barista, claimed his Cafe made the best coffee in Sydney, custom blends, barometric measurements and adjustments every half hour, stuff I didn't understand. Having tasted the best, no other coffees compare apparently, so now he just drinks instant(!) I got into my coffee a few...

Re: The best P/J Pickup Set so far! OzBass made!

No problem. Happy to make the for anybody who'd like to try some. I would have eventually tried some in my JB4, except Bassline bought it from me, before I got to it. I have a set of split J pickups, that I think work really well too AND you can actually solo either pickup without noise. :hyper: Th...

Stoked to hear this has worked out for you - @aphekgreg after Bill season and Christmas season are over, I'd love to have a chat with you about building a set for my fretless JB4?

Re: Quiz: Can You Name the Bassist by the Bass?

I only went one better than you. Weirdly, there was only a couple where the bass really gave it away for me. The rest were more about the little bits of extra detail in the surrounding image (tats, clothing style, and in Victor Wootens case, his finger shape 😆)

Re: Why edit prices from sold posts?

Me fourteen. Personally, courtesy is editing the subject (note: editing, NOT deleting), and adding a [SOLD] prefix. Leave as much detail in the thread as you're comfortable with - sometimes it's really handy for more than researching prices - colours, styles, features etc are often handy to come bac...

It's not all lost, the problem is you can't see the photobucket photos linked from non-photobucket sites. you can view them on the photobucket site though, so * for mobile: long click on a place holder image, choose View Image (or similar) * for Desktop: right click on the place holder image, and ch...

Re: Embedding Photos/Videos (and other media) on the forum just got a major facelift

https://instagram.com/p/Ba8ffqwBUDk/ Is there anyway of inserting from Instagram with JUST the pic and not all the other fluff, links to my Instagram, etc? In short, no - instagram doesn't do "direct linking" to the images via the plugin that we are using. If you want to do direct linking, you'll n...

Here's a clip from my originals project. Hope you guys dig it.

Sounds great, pared back sound and voice quality remind me a bit of Lamb. Great stuff!

Re: Suitable CLOTHES for hot weather/outdoor gigs

Totally depends on the gig.

Festival gig? Thongs, shorts, shirt optional ;)

My rule of thumb: be similarly, or slightly more formally dressed than the audience.

Once again, totally depends on the gig
