This thread is making me miss one of the only basses I regret letting go:
Can't see the image Jeremy. Try using imgur or something other than photobucket. But I think I know which bass you're talking about :yep

Re: Maton MGB4

Hey Craig, the serial number on mine is stamped into the wood on the top back of the headstock. I just pulled mine out of storage, took the photo and had a play. It sounds better than ever to be honest. The pickups always seemed a little too hot for me but I know how to tame them now. Just did a qui...

Re: Tube Amps

Like a few others here, I would be interested in some sort of tube preamp. Just can't swing 2.5k for a Monique, so for the time being I have to record through a dodgy U5 :( Or borrow mine! All you have to do is ask. Thanks Blaine, I know you are super generous with your gear. Sometimes though you j...

Re: Maton MGB4

Nice bass :yep I have the fretted twin of this bass. Always thought it would make a terrific fretless. Price us right up there though, even if it is serial #007. The Fretless versions are selling for more than the fretted versions. Very low Serial numbers will become increasingly important in the l...

Re: NBD - My first build - The Galleon

Looks absolutely amazing Davin. I love the headstock, reminds me a bit of Ritter but with a twist. The whole design is terrific

Any chance of a demo clip?

Great work Blaine! Would love to hear that fretless one day, although without lines I think someone other than myself will need to play it

Fender - Adam Clayton Precision

Took a drive with my daughter to the Bass Centre on Saturday to pick up a Vertigo Bass Sleeve for Classic#001 and some strings. Great gig bag! We had the obligatory inspection of the beautiful basses on display and this one caught my daughters eye. I can clearly see why it was her favourite.....but ...

Re: Future Builds - Kinda Not Random

Looking terrific Michael. What are you using for the contrast layer on this one? BTW...I was at the Bass Ceter yesterday, buying a Mono sleeve gig bag for Classic#001. Bumped into Davin (aka Slashin_velvet). He's doing some great work too on that build of his. Really impressed especially given he's ...
