Flats are great but IMO tapes are better. They seem to create more mid tone volume.

Oh - and go ahead and rip the frets out. You wont regret it.

Have you considered a powerline adaptor? Ethernet through the powerpoint. They're meant to be pretty good these days.

The valuable Fullertons are the vintage reissues. The Standard series from that age are, well…. not that amazing.

But as others have said - if it's a nice player then great. You might get lucky with either the body or neck being a reissue part..

SWR has a rep for scooped tone but I think this is bc they started making cabs that could deliver decent bass and had good quality horns.... also that's how everyone played when they were the shiz. My coffee making is as old-school as my bass tone :).
I hand grind my own beans and use a stove-top espresso.

Only use the best East Timor beans.
