Wow. That's sad news.

Any songs you'd love to perform live but haven't (yet)?

Listening to Roundabout by YES. I was thinking I'd LOVE to perform that with a band.

What songs would you LOVE to perform live but haven't (yet)? (please add YouTube clips)

Bit exxy at $3500 but piezo Fretless is rare, and never seen the colour Lava red before.

Re: Why edit prices from sold posts?

I got worried when I last purchased a bass and the thread got deleted, usually signs of scams and dishonesty.... but looks like it’s common in these neck of the woods. I'll very rarely do that, and ONLY IF the OP has deleted all THEIR content and there is no discussion other than "PM sent". If you ...

Re: Fretless has dead notes on all first 'frets'

Was it detuned during shipping? Might take 24hrs for the string tension to 'right the neck' against the truss rod tension. Wait & see.

You're in the Hunter Valley - jezza might be able to recommend someone to do a setup.

OzBass: "Buy something else"

Re: Why edit prices from sold posts?

Deleting asking prices.... it's a personal thing & I can see the pros and cons. Pro: I wanna research the going price. Cons: Many people think it's rude being asked how much they bought something for, so why do people expect to know how much it sold for? Live and let live. Also why ‘Please Delete’? ...

Re: Bathurst - the good, the bad and the ugly

Winter is tolerable in a house with central heating and good insulation. Find a way to connect with other people. New friends make all the difference when relocating. Sport and beer are by far the easiest way to fit in. Learn to cook - food choices are limited. Buy a car thats suited to long journey...

I just laughed it off but man it bugs me! It's almost as bad as being told how lucky I am that I can pl...

Re: Jazz bass bridge PU position - 60s or 70s?

60's PU's blend and balance nicer IMO. Soloed bridge PU with tone rolled back works better on a 60's IMO. For a Bright bridge PU tone the 70's wins hands down.... though it can be tricky making that work live. It does work like yin compared with the yang of warm 70's amps with 2x15" & folded 18" bas...
