Re: Fender STUDIO BASS 200 M I N T !

If anyone has anything bad to say about these amps. They haven't played or heard one. Ive got one of these, actually my only amp now. And these things ooze fatness, makes me drool everytime I turn it on, the nicest fullest roundest sound ive ever had, any bass sounds awesome through one of these. A ...

Re: NAD: Late 70's Fender Studio

Ahh the studio bass, Im soo loving mine, been over 1yr now. Best sound ive ever had, I run mine through a 212 @ 4ohm cab with a dirt pedal (boost) to get the tone nice and squishy at low volumes.
Just Yum....

Re: Bass/guitar storage options - share your ideas/thoughts

Re: Bass/guitar storage options - share your ideas/thoughts

My solution to this was a little different, at the time I had 3-4 gigbags laying around so utilised those. I made up small timber coat hangers (timber and hooks from bunnings), I cut a piece of timber to the shape of the top curve of my gigbags and simply hung all my bass gigbags up in the wardrobe ...

Re: Azumi 80's bass MIJ-Perth 300shipped

Haha, actually Simon you sold it to me, I had a desperate GAS attack one day and on it went to Carl, my resident cab pimp ;-), this bass has some serious balls, I've got the missing tone knob in a drawer at home, whoever buys it PM me and I'll post it out too you. Out of all the basses I've sold thi...

Thanks Mark and evilgus for responding. Haha.... Well I certainly took the bait on this one didn't I ? More than happy to work w...

Re: Attn. Graphic Artists

Hi Bill, I'm interested ;-) I've been a Graphic Artist / Designer all my adult life, past 10-15yrs, now running a small design business on the side, whilst currently being an apprentice tattooist. Happy to email you some artwork or there's a tattoo folio thread floating round here somewhere with exa...

Re: the MOVIE REVIEW thread

Haven't posted in this thread in a while... On a lighter note, I've recently been introducing my kids to Studio Ghibli movies, " My Neighbor Totoro " & " Ponyo " are 2 of their favourites. Studio Ghibli movies are all great traditional style animated Japanese films, if you've got kids they'll love t...
