Re: 10 albums you've listened to the most...

This is a bit of a moveable feast: Marquee Moon - Television At least there are two of us with taste :D Did you catch them at the Enmore a couple of years ago? It was a bucket list gig for me for sure! My wife is 10 years younger than me and she's a convert too. Sadly I was in the Country at the ti...

Re: I desperately need help with technique and don't know where to begin

My 2 cents worth, again. Thanks for the hole punch idea. The OP originally asked for advice on technique. Playing Scales is important, especially playing 3 notes per string as it forces you to alternate your picking across strings. It also familiarises you with the fretboard. Start slow to get even ...

Sorry to derail this a bit but does anyone know how the Squier Classic Vibe equivalent stacks up? I like the look of the DJS and the Sting but $$$ is an issue.

Re: Preamps - how many is too many?

When I'm using a borrowed amp I often plug my sansamp straight into the power amp stage. I only found out this was a thing you could do relatively recently - tried it with my RH450 but it's preamp stage adds *something* I like to my output (plus plugging direct into the poweramp bypasses the tuner)...

Re: New cab waiting room - it's here

It arrived yesterday after 3 months on back-order :partydance: . Played at home last night (domestic volume). Very happy. Great sound, low weight, low price. Pics to follow.
